L.A. Police Arrest 6th Suspect in 1985 Murder-for-Hire Case

Los Angeles Police on Wednesday arrested a sixth suspect in the alleged murder-for-hire killing of a Brentwood couple in September, 1985.
Anthony Joseph Majoy, 47, was arrested in the 19500 block of Sherman Way in Reseda on a warrant charging murder, Cmdr. William Booth said. Majoy, who is being held without bail, is scheduled to be arraigned today, Booth said.
In March, police arrested Neil Woodman, 42, of Encino and his brother, Stewart, 41, of Hidden Hills, who are accused of arranging to kill their parents, Gerald and Vera Woodman in Brentwood. Police said the brothers used proceeds from a life insurance policy on their mother to subsidize their failing plastics firm in the San Fernando Valley.
Also arrested then were Steven and Robert Homick, two brothers whom the Woodman brothers hired to kill their parents, according to Police Chief Daryl F. Gates.
A fifth suspect, Michael Dominguez, 27, is in custody at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas after his arrest in March on a parole violation for possessing stolen property in an unrelated case, according to Las Vegas police.
