120 Rounded Up in Wake of Bomb Attack in Peru

LIMA, Peru — Soldiers and police rounded up 120 suspected leftist guerrillas and common criminals in overnight raids on Lima’s southern shantytowns, police said Wednesday.
It was the second day of raids after a car bomb attack on the U.S. ambassador’s residence Monday. The attack was a protest of the U.S. air strike on Libya last week, the Tupac Amaru revolutionary movement said in a communique.
