Bill Crow of Mission Viejo High School and Bill Craven of Pacifica have been selected as coaches for the 27th Orange County All-Star football game July 11 in Orange Coast College’s LeBard Stadium.
Crow, who will coach the South team, completed his sixth season at Mission Viejo by guiding the Diablos to the Southern Conference championship game last fall. He has compiled a 55-15-6 record with six straight playoff appearances.
Mission Viejo won the Central Conference title in 1981 and advanced to the semifinals of the Southern Conference in 1984.
Craven, the North coach, has compiled an 80-28-2 record in 10 seasons at Pacifica. The Mariners have won three Empire League and four Garden Grove titles in 10 years and advanced to the Southern Conference title game in 1978.
The South team will be announced on May 3 and the North team will be announced on May 10. Proceeds from the game go to four charities based in the county.
