Chapman Rallies in 7th to Beat Northridge, 6-3

Chapman College rallied for five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning at home to post a 6-3 victory over Cal State Northridge.
Mike Cruz’s two-run double off CSUN reliever Cheeky Palomarez put Chapman ahead, 4-3, and Rob Wilkoys followed with a run-scoring single. Rob Glisson (8-5) picked up the win for Chapman in the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. game.
CSUN’s Jim Vatcher was 3 for 5 and Craig Burns 2 for 5. CSUN is 17-23 overall, 9-13 in conference. Chapman is 16-26 and 8-12.
