So critic Gary Franklin has left KCBS-TV for KABC-TV. Good riddance! Franklin walked out on Federico Fellini’s “Ginger and Fred” because it “bored” him, and he refused to give it a rating. He obviously wasn’t earning his salary as a reviewer. “Ginger and Fred” has received raves from critics all over the country. Fellini has been acknowledged as a genius. Walking out on a film he has been paid to review for the TV audience doesn’t say much for Franklin’s credibility.
