South County : Scholarships Awarded to High School Seniors

Two south county high school seniors have received the South Coast Medical Center Auxiliary’s $1,000 medical scholarships.
Recipients are Winnie Poster of Laguna Beach High School and Bryan Macy of Dana Hills High School.
Poster graduated with high honors and said she wants to major in microbiology at UC Santa Cruz.
Macy plans to attend UC Irvine and major in medicine with the goal of becoming a surgeon.
Auxiliary members Bernadette Davis and Elizabeth Wray, who presented the awards, said the auxiliary has been sponsoring such scholarships since 1972.
