San Marino : Rose Promoted to Principal

Jack Rose, 43, assistant principal at San Marino High School, has been named principal, replacing Gary Richards, who has become an assistant superintendent with the San Marino Unified School District.
Rose was chosen by the Board of Education from about 25 applicants from all over California. A Glendale resident, he has been assistant principal at the high school for four years and previously was assistant principal of Huntington Junior High School in San Marino. Richards succeeded Ken Ogden, who has retired.
