A railroad mechanic from Glendale won $1 million on the California Lottery’s “Big Spin” show in Sacramento, but none of the 15 finalists hit the $5.08-million progressive jackpot. Howard Huston, 44, who maintains signal equipment for the Southern Pacific Railroad, said he would contribute some of his winnings to his church.
