Granted that AIDS is tragic and that the Statue of Liberty is symbolic of dignity, etc., what Bob Hope said is funny.
It’s good to laugh! In our most heartfelt woes there is always something comical, humorous.
After trillions of miles traveled to lift the spirits of others, it is hardly fair to malign Bob Hope for one indiscretion, if indeed it was one.
