SAN FRANCISCO — Ashrita Furman rode a pogo stick underwater to a new world record in San Francisco Bay, then stood on a sidewalk at Fisherman’s Wharf and set a record for juggling three plastic balls.
His pogo stick mark was 5 hours and 38 minutes and his juggling record 3 hours and 22 minutes.
Furman, 31, who lives in Jamaica, N.Y., said the juggling and pogo records that he set Saturday would be included in the 1987 Guinness Book of Records.
