College Roundup : Chapman Tops Irvine Women in Soccer, 2-1

Debbie Stuart and Maggie Reardon each scored goals to lead Chapman College to a 2-1 victory over UC Irvine Thursday in nonconference women’s soccer action in Orange.

The Anteaters took a 1-0 lead on a score by Karin Grelsson at the 29:42 mark.

Chapman tied the score, 1-1, on Stuart’s goal seventh goal of the season four minutes later. The Panthers (6-11-1) took the lead 11 minutes into the second half on Reardon’s fifth goal of the season.
