Fairchild Industries of Chantilly, Va., named Paul E. Wright president and chief operating officer, a newly created post. Wright succeeds Emanuel Fthenakis, who remains chairman and chief executive. Wright previously was senior vice president for corporate planning and development at RCA Corp.
