Election Post-Mortems
Some pundits, viewing the results of the election, question the President’s ability to influence the outcome.
I disagree. If anything helped galvanize many thinking voters into action, it was Reagan’s question in one of his campaign speeches.
“Who do you want to determine the justices of the Supreme Court? Strom Thurmond or Ted Kennedy?” asked the President.
I hope he hears the answer.
