Reagan’s Dealing With Iran
In light of President Reagan’s surprising negotiations with the Islamic Shia terrorists to free the American hostages, my husband and I would like to say this to the President: “Mr. President, if we are ever captured by terrorists, do not negotiate for our release. Our lives are not worth the disarray of your foreign policy over terrorism, which ultimately jeopardizes the lives of many more Americans, and potentially destabilizes those regimes with tough, unpopular policies toward terrorists. America and her principles of liberty, justice, and equality outweigh the two of us. We will not allow our country or those principles to be compromised or upstaged by extremists. Ever.”
