Write On for USC, for USC, for USC Write On
The day the USC Athletic Department accepted John Robinson’s recommendation for a new coach will surely be remembered as a day of infamy.
Had it been possible to combine all of the anger of Trojan fans last Saturday into a ball of energy, it would have made an H-bomb seem like a firecracker by comparison. Need I say at whom the anger was directed? The fact that Ted Tollner escaped from the Rose Bowl without a lynching testifies to the competency of the Pasadena Police.
As for Tollner, it’s way past time to fire this incompetent who has brought us four years of unending humiliation with teams that cannot block, tackle or hold onto the ball, teams completely lacking in leadership, motivation and fundamentals, a team in search of a coaching staff. Don’t make the same mistake Notre Dame did when it honored the final two years of Gerry Faust’s contract.
