Capitol Leases Space in Plaza
In one of the largest office leases signed in Hollywood this year, Capitol Records has leased 25,000 feet of office space in the Hollywood & Vine Plaza at the southwest corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
Capitol will relocate its legal department and executive offices to the top floors of the building, the former Broadway department store. The lease consideration was not disclosed, but industry sources said it was in excess of $3.5 million.
M + S Management has begun a renovation of the former department store, with the conversion to office space scheduled for completion in mid-1987. Merrill Lynch Realty represented Capitol in the lease transaction.
