‘Another Season of God-Bashing’

I read with interest the column by Cal Thomas, deploring the activities of the atheists and anti-fundamentalists in restricting religious displays in public.
In recent times I have had the gut-wrenching, ulcer-inducing experience of witnessing Thomas and other self-appointed, arbiters of private morality expounding on TV talk shows what books or magazines I should or should not be allowed to enjoy in the privacy of my own home, what I should or should not be allowed to do in my own bedroom and with what consenting adult, whether children can or can’t study science, including biology, in public schools, etc., etc., etc.
While I am absolutely opposed to censorship of any kind, including censorship of fundamentalist propaganda, I must admit it is fun to see how the shoe pinches when it is on the other foot.
Merry Xmas, Mr. Thomas.
