Robert J. Newhouse Jr., chairman of Marsh & McLennan Inc., said the firm purchased Montgomery & Montgomery Inc. for undisclosed terms. Montgomery specializes in providing insurance brokerage services to Japanese corporations operating in the New York and Los Angeles areas. “Montgomery & Montgomery’s long experience with Japanese business in the U.S. will further enhance our leadership and commitment to providing Japanese clients with the best possible insurance advice and service,” Newhouse said.
