Lotus Development Corp. of Cambridge, Mass., reported record sales and net income for the year ended Dec. 31, with revenue rising 25% and net income increasing 27%. For the fourth quarter, sales were up 14% and profit rose 50%. The gains were attributed to continued robust acceptance of core products within worldwide business computing markets, a spokesman said. International sales, including U.S. exports, grew 70% and represented 24% of Lotus’ revenue for 1986, he added.
