727 Takes Evasive Action to Avoid Small Airplane

WASHINGTON — An Eastern Airlines Boeing 727 en route from New York to Washington took evasive action Friday to avoid a small plane north of Baltimore that was at least four miles away, the Federal Aviation Administration said. No one was injured and no regulations were violated, authorities said.
