A man dubbed one of the “Marx Brothers” bandits by federal authorities in a string of up to 11 bank robberies in Southern California over the past two years pleaded guilty on charges involving hold-ups at two banks in Fullerton and San Dimas last year. Roger Allen Lockridge, 53, faces a potential sentence of 55 years in prison in connection with the robberies, in which he and an associate dressed in topcoats and curly wigs and escaped with more than $91,000 in cash from the San Dimas bank. Lockridge’s brother, Lawrence, 56, was indicted on similar charges but mistakenly released from a Clark County, Nev., jail in February.
