Dana Hills Beats Glendale in Tennis
Top-seeded Dana Hills High School defeated Glendale, 16-2, in a Southern Section 4-A team tennis second-round match Thursday at Dana Hills.
The Dophins (17-1) swept doubles, with victories by Stan Sanders and Neel Grover, Andy Taylor and Jeff Meredith, and Ryan Gately and Kurt Reiner.
Estabon Saba, Gavin Fenske and Chris Stevens had victories in singles for Dana Hills. Glendale finishes the season 20-2.
Dana Hills advances to the quarterfinals Tuesday against the winner of today’s match between Marina and Westlake.
