Corona del Mar High School’s tennis team, which lost its second-round Southern Section 5-A quarterfinal match on Friday, is back in the playoffs.
The Sea Kings, who lost, 14-4, to Beverly Hills Friday, were reinstated into 5-A playoffs when a Beverly Hills’ player was announced ineligible at the conclusion of the match.
Corona del Mar will play Buena today at 3:15 p.m. at Buena, which is also back in the tournament because of Beverly Hills’ ineligible player.
