Japan’s Foreign Minister Plans a Visit to Tehran

TOKYO — Japanese Foreign Minister Tadashi Kuranari plans to visit Iran on his way back to Tokyo from the Venice meeting of major industrial countries starting Monday, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Thursday.
A spokesman said Kuranari will be ready to discuss all problems with Iranian leaders, including the safety of navigation in the Persian Gulf.
