Anyone wanting to start trouble at Sunday’s Run-D.M.C./Beastie Boys concert at the Greek Theatre would have had to deal with heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, who served as the rappers’ honorary bodyguard, bopping to the beat as he stood grinning at the side of the stage and receiving a warm ovation when introduced to the packed house by the Beasties. But later, as the boxer helped clear the aisle for Joseph (Run) Simmons’ through-the-crowd entrance, even his presence wasn’t enough to stop the rapper from losing one of his trademark unlaced Adidas shoes. After an attendant retrieved the wayward sneaker, Run-D.M.C. launched into--what else?--”Adidas.”
