Cambridge, Mass.-based Lotus Development Corp. named Robert P. Schechter chief financial officer, succeeding Nick Prokopis, who resigned. Schechter previously was managing partner of technology clients at Coopers & Lybrand and has been an adviser to Lotus since 1983.
