Quiksilver Inc. of Costa Mesa, which designs and manufactures beachwear and casual clothing, said that it will move to a new 86,850-square-foot building, also in Costa Mesa.
Company controller Jon Hanour said that Quiksilver has signed a five-year lease on the building, with a five-year option.
The new facility is expected to be ready in December and will house the company’s administrative offices as well as its shipping, receiving and warehouse space. It will also house the company’s cutting operations and portions of its T-shirt screen printing and Pro-Lite surf accessories operations, said Hanour. The company’s operations are currently housed in five separate buildings in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach.
