The KHJ-TV program “Million Dollar Movie” is most inappropriately named. Perhaps 25 years ago, it might have been an enticing title. But today, when an average studio movie costs well over $10 million, and the audience knows it, the title invites only negative comment. I am reminded of a book in my library, bought a generation ago, entitled “Europe on $5 a Day.”
