Lorimar Telepictures said it will receive about $23 million for three television stations being sold to a group headed by Joseph Goldfarb, a member of Lorimar Broadcasting’s office of the president. A definitive agreement has been reached in the sale of KCPM-TV in Chico-Redding and stations in Midland, Tex., and Springfield, Mo. An agreement in principle was announced by Lorimar last June, when it unveiled a major restructuring program involving sale of its six TV stations and other properties outside its core business of producing television programming, motion pictures and home video products.
