Jetliner Lands Safely With Power Systems Problems

AMARILLO, Tex. — Problems with the power systems of an Eastern Airlines Boeing 727 jet en route from Phoenix to Kansas City caused the pilot to make a precautionary landing Tuesday, Eastern officials said. The 50 passengers were placed aboard other flights at Amarillo International Airport.
