Local News in Brief : La Palma : Applicants for 2 City Committees Sought
The City Council is seeking applicants for the city’s development and traffic safety committees, each of which will have an appointive opening in January.
Interested residents must submit an application to the city clerk by Dec. 29, officials said. Forms are available at the clerk’s office, 7822 Walker St.
The development panel meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at City Hall. Each member receives a $100 monthly stipend.
The traffic safety committee meets as needed, and members do not receive stipends.
