Alemany Girls Place 3rd in Soccer Event
Alemany High defeated Capistrano Valley, 3-1, Wednesday to finish third in the Ocean View girls soccer tournament.
Shannon Lambert, Rachel Gagliano and Sondra Shatkin scored for the Indians.
Alemany (9-4-1) won its first three games in the 32-team tournament before a loss Tuesday dropped it from championship contention.
