Major Appliance Abuse
I cannot begin to tell you how shocked I was when I got to the article on Strummer.
After years of teaching our children about drugs and sex and political unrest, he has now hit a new low--showing our impressionable kids that it’s OK to play in refrigerators.
Hundreds of children have died in these killer fridges over the years. Now is the time to put a stop to this carnage! How many more must die while rock stars glorify playing with major appliances?
In the right hands, a refrigerator is a useful tool. But in the hands of a child it can be as deadly as an atomic bomb. I urge all concerned citizens to band together and write letters to Strummer’s record company to get him to stop making refrigerator use look like fun.
Most of all, we must teach our kids that when it comes to refrigerators--just say NO!
