Hart Wins a Pair in Softball Tournament

Sophomore Kym Weil and freshman Krissy Carpenter teamed to pitch a no-hitter as Hart High defeated L. A. Baptist, 6-0, Saturday in the first round of the Simi Valley softball tournament.

The pair later combined on a two-hitter as the Indians (2-0) blanked Alemany, 4-0, in a second-round game.

Weil struck out 7 and walked 2 in 4 innings against L. A. Baptist.
