Pasadena : Benton Memorial Service
Caltech will hold a memorial service March 14 for professor John Benton, who died Feb. 25 of injuries from a fall. The service, at 4:30 p.m. in Dabney Hall, will be open to the public.
Benton was awarded a MacArthur Foundation fellowship in 1986 for his scholarship in medieval history.
His family has asked that memorial donations go to the National Assn. of Retarded Citizens, P. O. Box 6109, Arlington, Tex. 76006.
