San Diego
An argument over damage to a car Tuesday left a San Diego man dead and a teen-ager wounded in Golden Hill, police said.
Details are sketchy, but police spokesman Bill Robinson said Artis Norris, 28, was found by police in his home in the 2700 block of Alta View Drive with a shotgun wound about 10:40 p.m. He was rushed to Mercy Hospital, where he died at 5 a.m.
Police later learned that a teen-ager involved in the same shooting was at Paradise Valley Hospital with a shotgun wound to the back, Robinson said. The 17-year-old boy was listed in good condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Robinson said witnesses told police that the two victims had argued over damage to a car owned by a friend of one of the victims.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
