High School Spring Sports : Chatsworth Gains Revenge in Volleyball

Chatsworth outside hitter John Ross recorded 11 kills to lead the Chancellors to a 15-10, 12-15, 15-8, 15-8 nonleague volleyball victory at University on Wednesday.
Larry Fernandez added 9 kills and Mike Millett had 8 blocks for Chatsworth (2-0), which lost to University in the City Section 4-A Division championship last year.
The Chancellors are the second West Valley League team to beat University (0-3) in the past week. Kennedy beat the Warriors in five sets Friday night.
In another volleyball game:
Montclair Prep d. Pilgrim, 13-15, 15-11, 15-11, 18-16--Josh Willes had 17 kills to lead the Mounties to a nonleague victory at Pilgrim.
