Beverly Hills : Third Endorsement Made

The Concern for Tenant Rights of Beverly Hills said it has added Allan L. Alexander among its endorsements for City Council. Last month the group said that it was endorsing Ellen Stern Harris and Vicki Reynolds, but could not reach a consensus on a third candidate until late last week.

The renters’ organization has had mixed success with its endorsements in the last four city elections. Renters make up about 60% of the city’s population, but in the last election only about 15% of the votes cast have come from precincts where most of the apartments are located.
