James S. Pignatelli has been named president and chief executive officer of Irvine-based Mission Energy Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Southern California Edison. Pignatelli, who had been executive vice president, succeeds Edward A. Myers Jr. who retired. The company also promoted Robert M. Edgell from senior vice president to executive vice president, and Alan M. Fenning from vice president and general counsel to senior vice president. Mission Energy is a developer, owner and operator of alternative energy and cogeneration facilities.
