Amfac Inc. announced that it signed an agreement to sell its Lamb-Weston potato products processing division for about $276 million to a joint venture consisting of ConAgra and Golden Valley Microwave Foods. Amfac had announced a comprehensive restructuring plan Dec. 13, which designated for potential sale the company’s continental U.S. assets, including the Portland, Ore.-based Lamb-Weston operations.
