Fullerton College has named five of its employees its Staff of Distinction for the spring semester.
Teaching and non-teaching staff members make up the five, who are being honored for “individual contribution to their field, teaching excellence, campus leadership, college-support service and service to the community,” said Al Busch, spokesman for the community college.
Selected by a panel of college administrators, staff members and students, the five honorees are: Allen G. Brown of Laguna Beach, dean of biological sciences; Julie Ann Dillon of Garden Grove, senior library technician; Jeanne R. Moores-Germond of Orange, a Spanish teacher; Ronald D. Magness of Anaheim, a facilities assistant, and Gene E. McKibbin of Anaheim, an economics teacher.
The award winners each will receive $250, and their names will be engraved on plaques for permanent display in the college’s Administration Building.
