The Los Angeles field office of the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency, seeking lower rent and more convenience for staff members, will leave downtown Los Angeles for Glendale, officials said.
“There was no real compelling reason to stay in Los Angeles,” said Jane Bodmer, director for administration in the agency’s western district headquarters in San Francisco.
The office, an agency of the Treasury Department, is located at 523 West 6th St. It will move about 60 staff members into office space at 550 N. Brand Blvd. on July 25, Bodmer said.
