Probation for Campus Fire

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A Yale alumnus charged with setting fire last month to anti-apartheid shanties on the Ivy League campus was placed on two years of probation Thursday. Dr. Elwood Bracey, 52, of West Palm Beach, Fla., was not required to admit guilt in receiving probation under which his arrest record will be erased if he fulfills terms set by the judge.
