Apple Computer’s income jumped 71% to $91.3 million in the third quarter, compared to a year ago. The Cupertino, Calif., computer maker said revenue rose 56% to $993.1 million. The company said it continues to make good progress in business markets with its Macintosh personal computers and noted strong momentum in its Apple II products.
