Fullerton High Hires Burton as Basketball Coach

Chris Burton has been hired as basketball coach at Fullerton High School, Shirley Fenton, the Fullerton Union School District public information director, said Monday.
Burton, a graduate of USC, replaces Roger Forgette, who resigned at the end of the school year after coaching the Indians for four seasons.
Burton was the junior varsity coach and assisted with the varsity at University High School last season. He also has been an assistant coach at Rolling Hills and Ocean View.
Dean Cooper has been named varsity basketball coach at Costa Mesa High School, Jim Hagey, Costa Mesa athletic director, said. Cooper coached the junior varsity last season.
