In an unexpected move, North Korea has accepted a letter from South Korea’s National Assembly urging it to take part in the Seoul Games, officials said.
The letter, signed by Assembly Speaker Kim Chae-sun, was addressed to his North Korean counterpart, Yang Hyong Sop. It was handed to North Korean representatives at the Panmunjom truce site.
