Johannesburg Blast Causes No Injuries

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — An explosion near a military headquarters rocked downtown Johannesburg on Wednesday night but caused no injuries and only minor damage, police said.
The blast occurred outside the Witwatersrand Command, a complex of brick buildings housing the Johannesburg area military headquarters, police said.
No one was injured and the blast, which was heard more than one mile from the scene, caused only minor damage to the buildings, police said.
