Culver City : Park Theater Festival Planned

The city Department of Human Services will sponsor the “Classics in the Park Theater Festival ‘88” this month at Carlson Park at Motor Avenue and Braddock Drive. The festival will include performances of “The Prince Who Wouldn’t Talk,” a children’s story, on Saturday and Sunday; “Everyman,” a medieval morality play, on Aug. 13 and 14; Euripides’ “The Bacchae” on Aug. 20 and 21, and “Dogg’s Hamlet,” a modern absurdist play, Aug. 27 and 28. There is no admission charge, and picnicking is permited. Showtime is 2 p.m. For more information, call Jack Nakanishi at 202-5689.
