Abortion Foes’ New Tactics

I simply cannot believe the energy, hue and cry that is expended about abortion (which has always been with us and always will).

Where are these same concerned people when abused children cry out for help? Or when the homeless child sleeps on the sidewalk? Where are they when unwanted children are languishing in orphanages or shuffled from foster parent to foster parent?

The animal protection league does more to promote the care and consideration of animals than pro-lifers do for existing children. There is also a tacit understanding that spaying and neutering is a fine thing to keep the animal population in bounds. Aren’t we missing something here?

Let us take up the cudgel against government subsidies for large families. And the hush-hush manner in which the whole dilemma of overpopulation is swept under the rug. Evidently we have to be knee-deep in garbage and pollution before the dimwits of the world make the connection that as people go up environment goes down.
