DAP Inc., a maker of caulks, sealants and adhesives, said it will shut down its Santa Fe Springs plant and lay off 30 factory employees on Nov. 1. The plant, which makes adhesives and contact cement, was closed as part of Chicago-based DAP’s ongoing efforts to consolidate operations and reduce costs.
